Of course the dictionary definition is correct: abstaining from food. That is what I said. We are talking about the medical definition of fasting in this context, not the religious one. Ask any doctor what a "fasting blood glucose test" is and if you could drink juice before it...
I'd like to tell you that the way you formulated your two posts was not full of the love and peace that fasting (whatever you may understand by it) usually brings to people. I took your first post lightly, wondering what might have offended you so. The fact that you actually posted another reply again after a couple of days, just to prove why you think I'm wrong, kind of upset me. Even if I was wrong, you could have said it in a nicer manner. I could almost sense the pleasure you took in googling the dictionary definition and then posting it. I don't know why you are so full of bitterness...I'm sorry if my initial post offended you or your ideas in any way. I am sending you some positive energy and virtual hugs :)
