Sorry you had to catch a bug... fasting will get you through it quicker! What juices are you drinking?

I highly recommend holding the fiber til post-fast. The whole idea of fasting is to remove the constant burden of digestion, allowing the body to cleanse, detox and heal. Add the fiber post-fast with a cleansing diet!

Every day you fast you should drink a strong cup of herbal lax tea (the cascara sagrada is fine) in the evening, and again in the morning; OR herb tea pm, SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) am.

It only took me four years to figure this out, but here's the easy way to get that swf we all love to hate down!

Dissolve 2 tsp. UNIODIZED Sea Salt in 1 cup drinkably hot water.

Have 3 cups plain water standing by.

Chug as much salt mixture as you can, chase with fresh. Chug and chase til ALL water is consumed. About an hour later the entire quart exits the other end in dramatic fashion, carrying all within its path! (Not for the commute--lol!)

You can substitute a plain water enema for any/all of the above. The idea is to keep your colon very clean every fasting day as this is the main off-ramp for toxins. The faster you get them OUT, the better!

I have stopped many detox crises dead in their tracks with a plain water enema, well worth learning to do if you are serious about cleansing. A great idea to help you flush that bug you are fighting.

And DO drink lots of extra water! Flush flush flush!
