I just had the microderm...levulan/ipl done.....my face is almost peeled off takes about 12 days to get all the skin off the face totally...but after one treatment i notice a dramatic difference....i agree laser alone sucks! i did ipl microderm the previous month and didnt notice anything at all...levulan is a mild form of acid...that causes a sunburn effect to and after a few days causes your face to peel...i simply call it an acid peel...but i am very excited at my results...i had mild indented acne scars...and my face is almost smooth...i had to do this to halt the destruction from all the cleansing i have been doing..causing me to breakout tenfold....my face was getting destroyed...i highly suggest levulan...its a one size fits all treatment...also good for smaller pores.....fine lines ..skin discolorations ...shrinking oil glands and a few other things. my one treatment was $400 small price to pay in my opinion!
