is there a way to fade scars?- please help.

Hello everyone,
what is the best way to end a lot of discoloration of the skin?
I have very little Acne anymore, but a lot of little tiny red scar marks from Acne in the past. My face even feels smooth, but the little red marks never seem to fade!
Does bleaching with hydroquinone work, say with a product like zenmed? I've already tried going under the smoothbeam laser, and wouldn't recommend it!
