Re: _Bob's Story Part One and Two

Just read your story and you mentioned you had your tonsils removed. I know you know your stuff so I wanted to ask about my son.

I have an appointment tomorrow because my 5 year old has difficulty breathing when sleeping. He actually stops for about 4-5 seconds and moves slightly and then begins snoring again.

I know the doctor will want to remove the tonsils and adenoids. He has only had about 1-2 ear infections in his life and few sore throats. I have read that they can do a tonsilotomy (partial removal) instead of a tonsillectomy (complete removal) of the tonsils. This is what I want, because I have had my tonsils removed and I don't want him to have this done.

What about the adenoids?

Any suggestions?
