Progesterone causes Cancer

I've been using prog creme for the past 2 years on and off due to polycystic ovaries and problems with my fertility. I find it helps me regulate my cycles and deal with terrible joint pain I periodically get in my hips. Now however in the journal I receive from Foresight - an organisation dealing with the nutritional aspects of infertility - there is a letter from one of the foremost experts in hormones - who has been researching for 40 years - saying that supplementing progesterone causes breast and ovarian cancer and that the internet selling of progesterone is an irresponsible timebomb. Does anyone know anything about this as I'm now rather worried and don't want to continue taking progesterone creme if there's any risk.
