its all mental/ success story!

any type of addiction can be cured physically in 3 days, and after that its all mental. TRUST ME> refined Sugar is very addictive, and also our body's worst enemy (along with preservatives and trans and hydrogenated fats). my mom had struggled with her weight all her life. looming at 165 with a small 5'4" frame began to threat her health. she had heard from a freind at work about this guy that worked with your energy/ aura to get you over the mental barrier of addictive foods. she felt pretty sick in withdrawal her first three days, but by her fourth started feeling great. she lost 40 pounds in 3 months and has kept it off for 6 months! now, i made fun of her for going to this looney guy and made a bet that it wouldnt work, and i dont know if it was the fact that she dropped 200 bucks or it was real (which im starting to believe), but she got the will power to follow his diet. he talked to her about her favorite foods and eating habits then gave her a list of foods she can and cant eat. anything with sugar, obviously, was the top thing to cut out. also no caffiene, sugary foods, red meat, or carbs after snack. her meal plan went like this:
oatmeal or Sugar free whole grain cereal with lactose free milk (he says it has less sugar), decaf coffee if you must, and a peice of fruit- OR two peices of fruit- but no high Sugar fruits like bananas, melon, pinapple, etc. snack, if you got hungry, can be an apple. lunch and dinner are similar- lean protein (fish or chicken) and vegetables, always a salad, too, with low sugar low fat dressing. also, his suggested tricks are dip your fork in the dressing. drink 8-10 cups of HOT water/ tea/ water with lemon.. no cold water!!
mind you, as she began to lose the weight and feel better, she also got a gym membership and started doing cardio, walking, pilates, yoga, and now even does tai chi and swimming. THIS is what has KEPT her weight off- because after the 3 months she began to introduce regular foods into her diet. she said there were times that she even indulged in sugar and got off the rocker, and thats ok, because if you deprive yourself too long you will go nutsO!!
now, at 125, she looks 20 years younger and a million times healthier!
I reccomend this to anyone looking for realistic healthy weight loss, but remember, everyone's body is different, so think about when you were at your best health and what you were doing to be there. a lot of the times its because you were probably a lot more emotionally stable! think about.. ITS ALL MENTAL :)
happy eats!
