Heidi and I started yesterday(Thursday) so just start tomorrow and walk 3 to 5
miles a day...minimum. You can walk on a treadmill...or outdoors or in front of
the tv...walking about 120 steps in one minute is about 3 mph...and it takes
walking 15 minutes at that pace to walk about one mile. So you can judge that
way...when you've gone a mile.
We're having heavy rains...in Southern Ill...and have been for a week...so I've
been walking in front of the tv....and I don't even WATCH much tv...but it's
been fun....today I walked during 30 minutes of Murder She Wrote..I LOVE that
show...and never have time to watch it. Still didn't get to see all of it...
had too much to do...but that part was fun...kept my mind occupied...and time
just flew by. I'm walking my first mile as soon as I can when I first get up...
then 2 miles mid morning and 2 miles mid afternoon.
We're going to see who loses the most
pounds by next Thursday...just doing our
individual diets. So keep us posted.....kathryn
