If you feel torn by your decision __afterwards__, then as you said, a part of your still loves her.

For me, I feel at peace after my decision (at least so far) - even if many years later this turned out to be a bad decision, at least I finally followed my innder guide this time. The biggest struggle for me was before the decision, as I didn't know how to handle the situation without hurting her. She's a very nice girl, and I care for her, but it's different from love.
