I am new to this whole soaking grains concept and have a couple of questions. Is is possible to pre-soak grains (for example, soak two days worth of oatmeal at a time) or will they get to soggy? Also, are Mason jars OK to use to soak (w/cover) or is it better to just use a bowl with a towel over it? Finally, I am going to a class to learn how to make kefir in a few weeks...until then, is it OK to use store bought kefir to soak grains? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
