Re: Polycystic Ovaries

HI LadyHawk

I too have polycystic ovaries. My periods stopped when I was 22. Everyone said that it was because I was thin but then when I had the ultra sound; it showed that I had this syndrome. I had a couple of friends that have it as well and it discards the theory that you have to be fat and hairy to have this syndrome, because none of us are. I was also put on the pill and it made me absolutely feral and sort of agoraphobic. It was hard to explain how bad it made me feel. I also didn’t have any energy. I was also tried on a couple of pills but gave up because they all made me feel so unwell. Another friend when she took the pill for this was nauseated everyday and couldn’t get out of bed most days, so she too gave up on the pill. I think when introducing hormones to someone that has hormone problems, that can fluctuate so dramatically, isn’t a good thing.

Anyway, polycystic ovaries are a complex syndrome which involves insulin sensitivity, immune problems and apparently excessive testosterone- hence the facial hair. I have other problems at the moment but I went to a practitioner who had the electrodermal screening machine/Orion system/listen system/ EQ4 whatever you like to call it. I went to her for other reasons but mentioned when I was there that I had this syndrome. She gave me drops for parasite etc and I went off on my merry way. Well I had two sets of drops and had to take these three times a day. I noticed that when taking one bottle of the drops that my right ovary hurt, not painful, just uncomfortable. On the third day I got my period. Now, I hadn’t had a period for 5 years. I had to see this lady the next day and was so excited that I told her. She said that she had given me testosterone, insulin and human growth hormone, homoeopathically. What I am trying to say here, is that it wasn’t a placebo affect as one DR alluded to, because I didn’t know she was treating me for this. I now have my periods back and despite my failing health, I have had periods regularly for 5 years.

That is my experience with natural therapy. I know there is a polycystic forum here at curezone. You may get some advice there, form people who have it.

Cheers
Nat
