Polycystic Ovaries

I am 24 years old female. At my first PAP (at the age of 17 or 18) my doctor recommended that I get a sonogram of my ovaries done b/c I was having irregular periods. It was then discovered that I have Polycystic Ovaries. The doctor put me on the birth control pill: Orthotricyclin to start with, but it was too low a dosage. Then she tried Orthonovum and it gave me up to a 16 day menstruation. Talk about uncomfortable. Not to mention, P.O. caused a hormonal imbalance which has produce too much testosterone and as a result--UNWANTED facial hair. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a "natural" cure. I just had a second PAP and the doctor immediately wanted me back on birth control. However, for those who aren't aware, most birth control is made out of cow hormones and female horse urine. I'm certainly neither animal and I don't want this trash in my body again. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
