Re: What is the cause for down syndrome?

Thanks for all the info. I've also heard many cases of young women (15-20) that have had kids with DS. I have to be honest that I'm a bit scared it would happen to me. I really don't know I could handle it the right way. I truly am on my way of cleansing my body and eating things which are healthy. I know of doctors (for example my sister's OB/GYN) that won't do a sonogram unless it's abslutely necessary, like the mom having pains or bleeding or something of that nature. I had a kidney stone and had 3 done plus at the OB/GYN had what they call vaginal sonogram. I know it's not good. Probably I should talk to my OB/GYN before I get pregnant to make sure he won't be ordering lots of them. I also worry a bit because my husband is adopted and he knows nothing about his birth parents or blood family. And of course, if something is in the genes, we wouldn't know it. But of course, I don't believe in abortion so that would never be an option even if I knew I was pregnant with a baby having a certain disease or problem. I'll make sure I do all the cleanses. I tried the liver cleanse once and threw up the oil. It's hard to do them, but I'll try!! Thanks for everything. I'll keep you posted.
