My two year old daughter has horrible, cracking, bleeding excema. It started when she was an infant on her cheeks. Over the past two years it has spread over her whole body, everything except her face. We have tried conventional medicine, and it has only temporarily masked her symptoms. We are bathing her twice a day and applying tons of Aquaphor ointment on her whole body, we have tried eliminating wheat, gluten, dairy, soy, etc....from her diet, with no results. She has to sleep and often play in sleeper pajama's with sock sewn on the ends to keep her from scatching herself to death. She litterally wakes up some mornings with blood crusted to her clothes. We are so frusterated and want to help her. We are now seeing a naturopath who is doing the "NAET" allergy elimination treatments on her, they have not helped her skin yet? We have tried burt bee's oil and lotion to which she broke out with both. Someone mentioned it might be the flouride in our water? Any thougths on that? We are at our wits ends and need specific suggestions if there are any out there? We also give her cod liver oil, and flax oil daily.
