I don't think that is true!

Lapis:
concur that the operator is of utmost importance in any of these types of testing paradigms. I will experiment with quantification in the futuer although even if it is duplicatable it will be met with resistance by mainstream as you know. *sad*

EZ:
If you can produce results repeatedly, either qualitatively and/or quantitatively, then these results will be accepted. Of course be prepared to do your testing on blinded samples which may or may not be spiked with the compounds you are testing for. If you can successfully perform these tests, in a repeateable fashion and with blinded samples, the results will be accepted. If you get to that point I can prepare some blinded samples for you or Dr. Vinograd for testing. We can work out the details of the blinding as well as independent testing for conformation that the samples do indeed include the compounds at the concentrations claimed in the samples. We could start with testing for single compounds then work on mixtures if you wish.
