skin on almonds toxic/ blanch first
almonds as many nuts go rancid very fast..
it is best to get in shell almonds, then shell a few that you want to eat..and dip them for about 30seconds in a pot of boiled water.
the brown hard out side skin will slip right off..
then cool your almonds down and enjoy.
the brown outer skin has toxins in it to protect teh nut form bacterai etc.. and is very harsh on your system..
becuause nuts can go rancid so fast.. it is better to get int eh shell and they willbe ok/ tehn jstu do as outlined above vefore eatign them. 8)

so what youexperience when eat them may just be a reaction to unshelld nuts bought form store that have goen rancid/
ot by eatign the brown skin also.
or if youbuy raosted forms it may be fromt eh oils.. lots of places roast in canola or soy oils both are not good for you ..
canola is a genetically modified oil.
