Re: Julia Chang/Liver/Candida/Colema
Hi! I have only done four
Liver Flushes to date. After my first flush, I spoke to Julia Chang on the phone and she recommended I start taking Gold Coin Grass to soften my stones, Chinese Bitters to help decongest my liver, and Coptis and Curcuma which helps to increase bile and energy. They also help prevent a stone from getting stuck during a flush. These products taste awful but last a very long time.
I started taking them in January, but continued using the Dr. Clark flush protocol. I wasn't having much success with that as the
Epsom Salts were too harsh for my system. I tried switching to magnesium citrate instead, but that sent my system into a major hypoglycemia attack.
I spoke to Julia again about my problems with the flush and she suggested I try to protocol listed on her site. I decided to give it a try and was amazed at how much easier it was to do and how much easier it was on my system. It allows you to eat no or low fat meals throughout the day. I even ate dinner! I did nothing until the 10pm olive oil/grapefruit drink. I also took one teaspoon of Coptis and Curcuma to prevent a stone from getting stuck. It was SO EASY. The next morning, I had to drink one liter of water with two teaspoons of
Sea Salt . That was it. It was much easier on my butt as well as it did not produce so much running to the bathroom. This flush was my most productive producing the most pea size stones and the first ever thumb sized stones - about ten of them. I plan to use this protocol going forward as it was so productive.
My wife decided to give it a try as well. She has never used the Gold Coin Grass and other products above, but she liked being able to eat throughout the day! As she had not prepared to soften her stones, etc. I told her to take at least one small glass of magnesium citrate, just in case (about six ounces). She then followed the rest of the instructions, just like I did. She loved this protocol as well as it was so much easier on her system and she also produced so many more pea sized stones and thumb sized stones. We both also didn't feel wiped out the next day.
I have never used a colema so I can't provide any answers there, but I love the information found on Julia Chang's sensiblehealth.com site and she is wonderful to speak to in person. I have talked to her three times and have emailed her back and forth several times as well.
Good luck!
Raymond
