Amalgams and Parasites

Quite an interesting forum you have here, Dr. V.

My doctor is insisting that I have my Amalgams removed because she has diagnosed me with parasites and she feels if the Amalgams stay the parasites will too. I have 10 Amalgams and not a bunch of money to remove them. Should I get tested for heavy metals first? I don't want to stop the progress of the parasite removal but I'm not sure that I buy the whole amalgam/ parasite relationship. Advice?
