Make sure the shea is 100% pure with no petroleum products. I have ordered from African Shea butter company and have been very pleased. I think they also have baby balms too. I would use something with no added scents or fragrances. Shea is extremely healing and works well. There is also some sellers on ebay who make balms that have calendula in them. Look closely at their ingredients and be sure itis ok to put on your precious baby's skin. You might want to see if you can find that on ebay. That would work very well in your situation. Also, try to eliminate dairy products from your diet. Those allergens can pass thru your milk to your baby and cause problems.
