Re: question to parazapper, help in India
Hi Anj and Tim,
>- As shipping to India maybe a problem (theft and added expense),
Shipping to India is about the same as shipping to the UK and it is tracked and insured by the postal service. We only use Express mail though which is not cheap. We can ship to India or to the UK.
>- One that we can depend on and that is strong enough to protect us here as much as possible and one that will reach into the intestines, but one that can also be used as a regular maintenance
While I may be prejudiced, I think that the ideal unit is ParaZapper CCa with copper paddles and footpads as it provides the full range of capabilities that you are looking for. More power than other zappers but it can be adjusted down, dual frequency, a tricolor indicator to let you know that it is working correctly or when it is not, low battery indicator optimizes the effectiveness of zapping. If you can not afford the extra cost of the footpads, you can make your own and instructions are available. All you need is some pure copper sheet, wire, and a couple of aligator clips.
>- Apart from getting a special indicator, is there another way we can check that it is safe to use for now until we get a much better one.
Actually, most zappers are safe and somewhat effective. I have never heard of the brand that you have. Methods for testing have been posted previously on this forum.
>- Can you also tell us the proper name for the type of indicator we need to check the negative output, we will try to get it from somewhere in Bangalore.
You would need an oscilloscope to check this and the person checking needs to know what to look for. I would not worry too much about this though. Our testing has found that even with some negative output you can still get good results.
