Actually, 3 of them plus the Synchrometer Science manual. On top of that, Dr. Clark was not first ( predated by Robert O. Becker by 10 years ) and while I really appreciate her work, she is not the only authority.

It is for safety! It guarantees that with a full 9 volt battery, you can not get more than 10 ma through the body. The 555 timer is capable of 100 ma and could easily kill you without this resistor! Look back at previous discussions about zapper current if you do not know the significance of this.

Also, I left out 1 important item of explanation as we are not finished testing.

If you saw the video "ParaZapper Killing Protozoa", it to ParaZapper less than 6 minutes to kill the protozoa and completely blow them up. I ran the same test with the ZP zapper and it took over 9 minutes to kill most of them ( not all ) and none of them were completely blown up! Get a microscope and check it out yourself. The ZP zapper is just plain not as good. This is my point and I challenge you to provide any evidence to the contrary.

It will take me a month or 2 to make a video of ZP results available but if you need it, I will.
