Bringing my zapper to Japan??

I'm from Canada and I've never been to another country before except USA, in a month I'm going to Japan, am I gonna have trouble at the airport if I bring a zapper? I don't know much about security in airports because I've never taken the plane before...
I'm leaving from Montreal then switching planes in Minneapolis. Has anyone been to another country with a zapper before?
