Blessings to both of you - and how loving of you to support your father in this manner!

DO explore this site - there is a wealth of information on here that might be of benefit to your father. In addition to that, I recommend YOU check out a book called Anatomy of the Spirit by a woman named Dr. Carolyn Myss. It may - or may not - be something of help and interest to your father. But I'm feeling that since you are a strong support mechanism for him, it could be wiser for you to look at it and make a determination as to whether he'd be interested in reading it - based on YOUR knowledge of him and your family, etc.
