Re: Bulimia and the MC
Hey MM! Good for you! I have absolutely no idea what it means for the overall plan, but there are those here who certainly DO and they'll be along soon enough to help you out.
But I'm unclear and curious - so you do the syrup with the pepper separately from the lemon juice? That's a good question - but then hey, it's still all the ingredients, ending up in the same place, I suppose....
I half wondered something similar. I'm not actually doing B&P shakes, I'm putting the B&P stuff IN my lemonade. The B&P instructions are for when you're eating solid food, cause nothing is supposed to be in your stomach. But nothing's in the stomach when we're doing the MC, so - just like taking the syrup separately from the lemon juice, what's the difference? (hehehehehe - I expect we'll both find out soon enough - if there is one!)
But back to you - this is GREAT! Some very good discipline for you and definitely something to be proud of!
But me being me - I want to ask you this. You've been "fighting" with this thing for 20 years. I'm wondering if you've gone inside to do the work, as it sounds like you've certainly been doing "outside" work for a while. I mean, you can keep your fridge clean or not go out to restaurants or even do a fast, but the emotional stuff that triggers the bulemia will still exist. (I FINALLY quit smoking after 30 years and quitting a bajillion times, the first time 20 years ago)
On the other hand, the detox from fasting is often very frequently NOT just physical - as many here have been discussing in the last few days. So you might find yourself discovering the answer to that Q while you're on this thing (if you're not too sure of the answer, that is). If all that sounds puzzling, I encourage you sincerely to read some of the posts on the last few pages - there's one that hopinso starts called DAY 8 - AFTER A ROUGH NIGHT and one CMC starts that says DEPRESSION HITTING HARD PLEASE HELP.
Many here are experiencing personal growth spurts with issues, and perhaps, through the MC fast/cleanse, you will find your own way in your battle with bulimia. The important thing is that you are desiring to make headway, and I bet in your battle you've made some GREAT headway. Be proud of yourself!
