I really don't know the details about that which you speak Tom, but I have spoken with an Iraqi who participated in the uprising against Saddam, a true "patriot" of sorts, who really believed in Bush Senior, lost part of his arm and hand in that uprising, and is a Swedish citizen today (former Iraqi refugee before that). He was very dissapointed to learn later that, much like what you speak about, Bush Senior was a lying traitor. He didn't say that, but his deep dissapointment in having believed the promises of Bush Senior was sad.

I can't argue your point too much Tom, and it's one of the reasons I am an American expatriate, living abroad... I've talked to a LOT of people in my travels, and I know there is a lot WE (Americans) don't hear (BBC shows a LOT CNN never will), and don't know, and that the mindset is FAR different abroad, than IN America. The power of media, censorship, and calloused apathetic American public is showing more and more, I think, as well as the egoistic empire some call government there.

HUGE multination "exercises" for "emergency" situations is now in operation (Feb. 17th) to March's end, as well as one of the so called "largest" exercises of it's kind in the South Sea off China's coast right now... Go figure... WWIII is not so far off... I expect it by the end of the year, if not sooner, and I really, REALLY feel America is bringing in more and more foreign troops in preparation for a Super 911... which will spell the END of freedom as we know it...

It's as I said to a Brit arguing with a New Zealander at a bar in NZ about who's what, and so on... I had to look at both of them in their superiorority complex/argument and ask, "And Who's Protecting You Both???". When America falls, and Bible prophecy says she surely will, some time after her initial wounding (Damascus event), I seriousy think the rest of the world is in DEEP trouble... The Russians believe they will rule the world, and I am betting that it will be The Chinese who will be in that position.... they have pure man power alone, and enough to spare, as well as holing away up in the Himalayas... etc. etc.

We don't have so long to see how all this plays out... the troops in their "exercises" and all are on the move now... soon something will manifest... and we can get on with the Signs we "Christian" folk or researcher's of prophecy are waiting/looking for.

I think Catholics are great people, but I have no doubt whatsoever that the Catholic Vatican is one of the most hideous institutions on the planet... a fact for which the last Pope himself apologized for in 2000 in a written public statement... of course, we are speaking about one of the world's LARGEST corporations.
