when people have no idea what it is they really believe to begin with, they are simply left with the shell of that belief - the sound and the appearance of the words with none of their substance and no deeper understanding than what a minah bird would have. like when a baby is fine and happy and then all of a sudden realizes the face looking down at them is unfamiliar and starts to cry and panic - you are not going to impart any understanding to that.
