Re: Pat Robertson doesn't have a clue

I'm no fan of Ariel Sharon...in fact I think he has done some absolutely awful things but I still would never claim his illness was specifically sent by God to punish him nor would I do as Pat Robertson has done and kick him when he's down. Do you think Jesus sanctions kicking people when they’re down? I don’t think “a good Christian” would judge the man’s illness as an act of retribution from the creator but would pray for him and his family.

P.S. The man is 77 years old...it’s not a shock that he is having heath troubles at his age...is God just punishing the elderly for a lifetime of sins? Some people like to comfort themselves by believing that God hates those that they hate and punishes them with suffering when we all know there are so many very just people who suffer and never have good health.
