Re: What's your view on KOLBRIN Bible??

Hi, Rainberd,

Thanks for your reply.

Your testimony seems to reinforce my suspicions about this Kolbrin Scripture. I hope that I am not passing judgement too quickly. I am always open to new ideas - even if it winds up totally destroying my established set of beliefs at the given time. I believe that this is what it takes to evolve as a sentient and spiritual being.

As we can see, it may become somewhat easy for those who have an edge with certain resources, and who may also have a little creativity, to construct something anew, and to sell it to the public. As time goes on, I find that I am getting more and more cautious of what is presented to me. Unfortunately, there are a lot of charletains out there who, for perhaps the purpose of merely surviving in our world, will dupe the public with some very convincing concoction.

All it requires is taking a little information from here, and a little more information from there, researching other sources and checking histories, and putting something together that can look very real.

It sure helps a lot when we have very private and secretive groups involved. I know that, through a period of somewhat unjust persecution, the Knights Templar were driven underground, to re-emerge in Scotland, morphed into another kind of "exclusive" group that remains very secretive to this day. I have nothing against any group of people that choose to be secretive or private. I am, myself, to a certain dgree. However, these secretive groups appear to have an edge on the dissemination of the "truth" by being able to conceal the history or the people or the resources that are behind it - vouching for integrities and authenticities - asking the rest of us to trust what we are given.

With all due respect, I believe that it is just a little bit of an insult to our intelligence, especially during these times, to expect us to swallow everything that comes our way.

I remember the talkshow host mentioning that the stories relating to Jesus in this bible appeared to be an appendage - an add-on to the rest of the text. I was driving in a car, at the time, with my girlfriend, very late at night and just could not remember the guest's reply to this. However, the question was an interesting one, and it made me wonder how this book was put together.

It is very interesting how you mention Velikovsky. It seems to be that only recently he is starting to be given the recognition and credit that he deserves. Here is an example of a sincere mind who was trying to get across ideas to a very unreceptive establishment at the time. It seems that the roles were reversed.

It reminds me of something that Voltaire said in one of his short stories (I am not able to quote him verbatum, but it will be close).

In all professions and all walks of life the bad swarm and the good are rare, and those who are least worthy of appearing are always sure to present themselves with the greatest impudence.

Thank you for the website on the wandering rogue planet. I will check it out.

Did you know that a tenth planet was finally discovered, anyway? The story was just released about 3 months ago after it was found in 2003. It seems that the astronomers were looking in the wrong places - in the general area of the ecliptic plane of our solar system.

It is interesting that they found it to have an orbit that is quite an angle from those of the rest of the planets - perhaps something in the nature of 40 degrees. It is even more interesting that other sources that describe the angle of this rogue planet that visited our area in the past to be very similar. It may be just a short matter of time before we can know for sure whether this is the one that the ancients were referring to.

Thanks for the info on Sir Lawrence Gardener. I read four of his books, the first one being "Bloodline of the Holy Grail". His family trees are very fascinating and I spent time photocopying and putting them together on one big sheet of paper, just to see how it all looks as one big thing.

It is interesting how he gets into some of the more legendary family trees in his later books. These relate, more, to the legendary times that the ancient peoples told about, going back thousands of years before our established version of history. It is interesting that several ancient civilizations clearly describe an entire lineage of kings and gods that go back as much as 300,000 years. It is very hard to believe that those people spent their time concocting a bunch of "lies" and "myths" about their history as the established authorities would want us to believe.

The modern homo-sapien has been around for at least 200,000 years. If we think about this length of time for a minute, we can wonder what this species was doing for all of this time, except for just about 5,000 years of the recorded history that we are supposed to believe. I just can't believe that mankind would sit around for the other 195,000 years - on his "fists" - doing nothing - not using his brain to develop a civilization. Its just too unbelievable.

Please keep in touch, and thanks for responding.

Ron
