Re: Not according to scripture
And even the different factions of Christianity has to fight amongst itself. Being divisive and a stumbling block unto each other. That is against scripture too, 30230.
Concerning your statement,
"Saying that Jesus died for the sins of the whole world is blaspheme to the word of God."
How do you reconcile that with John 3:16,
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Look up "world" in your Strong's Concordance, what does it mean?
It means "the world, including its inhabitants."
What does "whosoever" mean?
It means "all, any, every, the whole & as many as."
What does "believeth" mean?
It means "to have faith (in, upon, or with respect to, a person or thing), that is, credit; by implication to entrust (especially one’s spiritual well being to Christ): - believe (-r), commit (to trust), put in trust with."
In other words, the verse means what it says. So, how can your statement be true. Show me the proof...the error of my ways.
Also, 1 John 4:14,15
14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. 15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
God does not love everyone.
Again, John 3:16,
For God so loved the world... So, you're saying He only loved some of the world?
And the Bible says that
God is love. ...but He is only love to
some people?
