Re: 7 month old with eczema around mouth the worst
HI, thank you so much for you response. I realize too that it is an inside out problem. I prefer natural meds as well over "
Antibiotics " etc. I used the steroid cream in desperation. I don't immunize my children so I know it isn't from that either. And he has never been on any internal meds at this point.
He has sensitive skin and I have to stick to no fragrance so I think I will try that borage oil stuff. Do you know where I can get that from?
I will give you the complete list of foods he is on or has had...
Raw goats milk(primary 4- 7oz. bottles a day
carrots, peas, green beans, mixed veggies(potatoes,gr. beans, peas and carrots)
sweet potatoes, once in a while squash(butternut)
Barley cereal(hasn't had much of that but some)
prunes, pears, banana(plum and grape), prunes with apples, plums with apples,
Didn't seem to like peaches or apricots do don't give those to him anymore
I think that about does it. That is the foods he eats the most of.
He wears cotton bibs, and sleeps on cotton in crib. He seems to have broken out alittle more on cheeks now that he insists on sleeping on his belly though. I wish he would stay on his back. But oh well.
He eats the green with the "orangey" veggies every day for lunch and dinner. So he gets either peas or green beans daily 2 x's a day. FYI
Would I apply that borage dry skin cream to the area around his mouth then? To heal it? It looks terrible. Scaly and dry and oh sooo red.. peeling like too. Flaky I guess you would call it.
Thanks for you help.
I have 5 children and this is the FIRST time we have ever had this problem. Not fun!
