Re: Does the Lord kill children?

Ok, If you wish to get off the subject of the children being killed by bears. We can now talk of Jesus Christ our Savior.

Jesus came and showed us many things. Lets not just see one thing that Jesus was showing us, but lets look at everything He did and said. For Jesus said to live by God's words.

Luke 4:4 "And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God."

God showed us His love by sending His only begotten Son. He also said that anyone that does not believe in His Son is condemned.

John 3:16-18 16)"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life."
17)"For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18) He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Jesus told the truth to all. Some people were hurt by the truth (the truth is not hate but it can hurt). Some people were offended and some just would not recieved it.

Matthew 13:57 So they were offended at Him. But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and His own house."

Matthew 15:3-7 3) "...Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition?"
7) "Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you,...

Matthew 16:3-4 3) "...Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times
4) A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign...

Matthew 16:8 "But Jesus, being aware of it, said to them, " O you of little faith...

Matthew 16:23 "But He (Jesus) turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me Satan! You are an offense to Me.

I could go on with many more scriptures about Jesus laying it down just the way it is. He loves but that didnt stop Him from telling the truth. And again, truth is not hate but it can hurt.
