Pounding/Heartbeat in ears

Hi. I have not been diagnosed with TMj but I'm thinking I might have it. I don't have alot of jaw pain but my jaw is always stiff and occasionally "out of joint", making chewing painful.

The biggest problem I'm having right now is that I can hear my hartbeat pounding in my ears. It's horrible and completely distracting. I can hardly work. It's the worst when I'm sitting still, better when I'm moving around. I have been to the ENT, had CT scans and MRIs, and he says my ears are fine. My hearing test was also normal but I feel like I have some hearing loss because of the noise in my ears. My ears also feel full and I can pop them at will.

Could this be caused by TMJ? I'm going to see my primary care doctor about this today and get her opinion of who I should see next (vascular dr, chiropractor, dentist?).

Thanks, Brooke
