Having a Baby and wondering about VACCINATIONS
I am 99% convinced that my wife and I are not going to vaccinate our child. However, when debating the case with others, it always gets back to "they do more good than harm" and "me and you both had all our shots and we're just fine". Reading on the Internet and researching with friends who also did not vaccinate has made me absolutely convinced that this is NOT for me nor for my child.
I will be moving to Tennessee and they have a "religeous exemption" there so I guess I'll fight that battle. I really dread having to go through it. Friends of mine were actually refused healthcare because they didn't want non-vaccinated baby's as clients.
All the kids that I observe and all parents that I talk to have the sickliest children. All of the parents of non-vaccinated kids say that "my kids have NEVER been sick." I mean, kids having infections, flu, alergies, (yes, even one friend who's child is now autistic after her MMR shot).
I feel so alone in my opposition to this. However, I know that the easy way out is to give in to this madness. I love this unborn little person too much to subject him/her to this.
Maybe this post is just to help further convince myself.
