Thank you! I wanted to reply because these guys also only showed up for the first two trips to the bathroom, just like yours! After that, no more. I was kind relieved about that, I have to say.

I forgot to mention last night that I DID poke it. OK, I poked it and jumped back really fast stifling a shriek (because that would have sent the husband unit running in and involved a fairly complicated explanation). Anyway, it was definitely like you said some sort of animal tissue.

I was also curious to identify what kind of worm this might be, but after looking at some of the photo galleries, and seeing stuff that made me want to pass out, I decided that perhaps that may not be the best course just yet.

OOH - Also, like you, I had a headache. But this was a screaming headache. After hearing your story, it really reinforces to me what I thought last night too, which was this was my body's reaction to having to expel parasite-type stuff was a headache. This morning, my headache is completely gone!
