Reagan was a graduate from a small college in Illinos, went into radio and acting. Was a Democrat. Made gung-ho movies during WWII and became head Of the Screen Actor's guild. He became a Republican while in Hollywood. Elected governor of California and took on the Peaceniks (sp?) at colleges like Berkeley. Got elected President (I voted for him.) and immediately took on labor organizations in this
country. I believe that during one of his terms a law was changed to
allow companies to hire scabs during a legal strike. This literally was the beginning of the end for the middle class. Reagan was groomed for years prior to his presidency. Many people believe he was just a front man - I'm not certain. As I watched him destroy the dreams of the middle class, I evolved into hating him and every Republican politician since.
