i'm not saying bush will win, but i'm already predicting his campaign mantra will go something like "the war was a success, we got rid of saddam, the economy is on the mend; unemployment? what unemployment?. and all the dems and other riff-raff (liberals) who claim i haven't done a good job and think they can do better, well, they just 'ain't patriotic and they're just politicizing it all, so vote for me", all the while knitting his eyebrows and squinting his eyes and looking as friendly as a mother bear with cubs. naturally, it won't be nearly as cohesive or comprehensive, but joe blow will get the drift, half of america will pass on the right to vote, claiming there's no candidate they're happy with. another fraction will mosey on down to their district voting booth and cast their vote on a machine designed and programmed by a company straight outta' bush's pocket, so whether or not you voted for him, you voted for him, then another fraction will have their votes "not counted" as they're supposed felons or belong to some minority group not favored by the GOP. how am i doing so far, lapis? hey, i'm just pissed and PMSing. as my husband's favorite shirt says "ANYONE but bush!". at this point, dr. ruth would do a better job. arrrgggggh!
