I think that veganism is important for periods of cleansing, reversing disease, etc. If water fasting, juice fasting, and mono-food dieting is good (cleansing) then I see veganism as an extension of that. For some people it's good to do that for life. But on the other hand, once you've got your health under control, then it's probably fine to do the Weston A Price route, but the problem is finding good sources of meat and doing portion control, etc. There are problems in both camps but I definitely think that going VEGAN is important if one has a health crisis!
