Vegetarianism is a choice one has to make for themselves. But it is not for everyone! I personally have done quite well, and feel great, since switching over to an organic diet that includes ORGANIC, lean cuts of meat (beef, chicken, fish... no pork).
For me, the organic quality is key. "Regular" cuts of meat that you buy in the supermarket are full of steroids, growth hormones, and other additives. And don't even get me started on what's in those fast food hamburgers!
"Would you like fries with your parasite-infested feces burger?"
**shudders**
I will say that I have much less emphasis on meat and dairy these days (my dairy is also organic). I lean more towards whole grains, fruits, and vegetables. But good quality meat can also be used in a healthy, well-rounded diet.
