Anyone with good advice?

Hi,

I have dated a 17 yr old for almost 2 years. We've seperated a twice within that time and were with other people, but always managed to find our way back to each other. Lately within the past few months, we have both seemed to be unhappy and not real communicative. I suggested that we just give each other some space, and try to work some things out with each other that way. The problem is, she met this exchange student and became very attracted to him. For the past week, she has changed her mind daily with who she wants to be with. First it's me, then it's him, back to me. Three days ago Friday 6-28-02, she spent the entire day with me, and told me she wanted nothing more to do with him, and that she wanted to be with me. I didn't talk to her until Sunday where she called me 15 minutes before he and his friends were coming over to tell me, she didn't want to be with me any longer and that she was going to be with him. That everyone, except her mother, was telling her to do this. The stupid thing is, he is leaving in a month to go home to his girlfriend, whom he says he wants to marry this winter. She knows all this and yet throws me away for him. I just don't understand why, I have since starting breaking communication with her and still plan to. My question is, when and if she calls after he leaves, do I still ignore her? If I don't, should I try getting involved with her? When she knowingly and willingly lied to me? Please help..
