Just post your story on appropriate forum:

make sure the story does not sound as you are selling or promoting something, cause in that case it will not be published. There are too many people on the web selling/promoting things.

Also, be ready to answer questions that come following the story. People who just post a story and then disappear and never answer any questions ... those stories are less likely to be published in newsletter.
