Some one who was very profound once said "forgive them, they know not what they do."
Help them anyway!!! Just show a loving spirit when you do or you risk driving them away from important nuggets of info. If a child is oon a ledge of a window of a 20 story building do you yell at them to get away from the ledge. Or, would you realize with higher awareness that an emotionally startling approach may overlaod their nervous sytem and cause them to plummet? Perhaps a better way would be to lovingly coax them off the ledge to safety. Just a thought.
It's not about "them" or "you"...it's about US!
"No branches are crazy enough to fight amongst themselves knowing that they are part of the same tree."
