really new to this

hi all

i been a curezone member for 2 years and mainly stayed at Ask Andreas Forum but i have heard of reiki but never knew what it was exactly. i am a catholic and reiki sounded like a very new age thing, is it? i was just wondering if it is at conflict with any religious beliefs.

i was surfing some CureZone Blogs and saw the word reiki and somehow felt prompted to do a search on reiki masters in my country. 1/2 hour ago i called up one and enquired about charges and he told me that i could pay any amount i want. ok so i guess i am a
' there is no free lunch in the world' kind of person, so although its good to pay any amount since i dont have a lot of cash, but also apprehensive.

but i just made an appointment based on gut feeling. (sometimes i get a bit impulsive and not always good)

i have some binge eating problem and i dont quite know the root of my problem, which is mostly physcological i guess, and some complexion problems that affects my esteem... i dont know if reiki does anything for such stuff, i dont want to waste time consulting a reiki master if it does not help such areas.

any input or advice/opinions??
