When a healer takes ownership of the healing the ego is getting involved. Reiki is energy from the Creator, and the healing takes place with the Reiki facilitator as a vehicle for the healing. Be careful to say I have heals or cured someone. That is not correct. you were the vehicle for a beautiful healing between God the universe the Reiki energy and the recipient.. Sorry but this is a hot button that needs to be looked at and thought about. I have always been taught that when a healer say she/he is the reason for the healing to stir clear of that one, as they are caught up in their ego.
