QUESTION for anyone using pascalite for cataracts! HELP PLEASE!

Hi there, My dad is nearly blind in one eye with cataracts and my mom has begun using pascalite clay water drops for it. She mixes a little less than 1 teaspoon to 1/3 cup of pre-boiled, cooled, filtered water (not distilled) lets it settle and draws the clear water off. She then flushes the eye with this water. My father says it burns terribly. Has anyone else used this for cataracts? If so have you found the same burning? Does distilled water or filtered water matter? How long till a difference was found?

If you have any tips please let me know.
