I am about to start using it to treat a cataract. I think distilled water is important as an chemicals in water can irritate the eye.
I do not think the eye should be washed with the water, just a drop or 2.
I am currently about to have one eye treated by surgery and part of pre-op consist of various drops but never more than 1 or 2 drops.
My plan is to put about 2 tablespoons of pascalite in a melita coffee filter and add 3 tablespoons of distilled water and catch it in a small jar. Two tablespoons of water will produce quite a few drops.
It is said that the indians did it by making a paste and putting on the eye lashes at bed time.
I obviously do not yet know the right answer but we should keep in touch
