Trust me, there is PLENTY to eat on Atkins. You have it much better than I did when I started it 4 years ago. There are actually low carb foods on the shelves now. Those things aside, you just have to get creative with what you have to work with. I have never felt feprived OR hungry. It IS possible.
I would guess you have not read the book. Fruit is a no-no in the beginning - fruit is left to someone like me who is on long-term maintenance. The Sugar in the fruit (yes, SUGAR) is keeping you out of ketosis and keeping you hungry. For anyone to be truly successful with Low Carb, one MUST read the book. What's $6 as a price for success? IT WORKS, IT TRULY WORKS if done the right way. But you MUST read the book to undertand what you are doing and why.
