Well, you screwed up by telling him in the first place. Women typically try this stupid stunt by getting laid as a payback or something. What's with that logic? Never works. Your guy will NEVER FORGET WHAT YOU DID. No matter how much kissyface or making up you're doing, you violated his trust with another guy's meat. A guy will always think of you as untrustworthy and/or slutty and might get laid with another gal to even up the score. That's how guys think, right or wrong. I wouldn't want to start a long-term on this footing...too many future paybacks in store for you.
