In all seriousness, I would like to know what, exactly is meant by one supporting their troops. If, as you see it, this can involve flagwaiving, that's fine, tell me about it, I'd like to hear/see you or any other such similar view on what it means to support one's troops.

The main reason I asked is, I once thought of myself as someone wanting to support their troops, but then I made the mistake of going outside the state-sponsored box to contemplate what all (not just the limited, in-the-box view, but the entire view), to me, may be entailed and involved..... long story, that, but I kindly warn you of something your comments imply you are unaware of. If you should be inclined to offer a genuine answer to what "support your troops" really means to you, remember something else you are unknowingly supporting, through such means and extremes of your tax dollars being put to work. These very tax dollars, historically, have been shown and proven time and again to be involved in funding numerous, far-flung agendas domestic and international, including the funding of the very bullets and bombs taking down and killing the same american troops that you otherwise say you support; a genuine contradiction and conflict of interests since the implication is you want to support both - your troops, and the funding of the bullets that kill your troops. Nonetheless, I ernestly await your response.
