InCharge
"Would you mind divulging the name of the supplier who, at this point, appears to have ripped you off? Main reason I ask is that I bought a good-sized supply about 2 years ago and was recently thinking it may soon be time to order more."
Well I finally got to the bottom the situation after much aggravation. First of all like I told you I had called yesterday, and was told that they would check on it and get back to me. Today they said the person that does the checking didn't show up for work, and that she would check with her supervisor and get back to me, which she finally did. She proceeds to give me a Fedex tracking number, and stated that the reason I didn't get my shipment was because I wasn't home. I told her that I didn't get any notification that a delivery attempt was made.
She stated that she didn't know anything about it, but that is all that she found out. I told her that she had charged me for the shipment and that it was her companies responsibility to see that I got it, and that if I didn't get the shipment that I wasn't going to pay for it. At this point, she came unhinged and started yelling at me, talking over me when I was trying to talk, and finally hung up on me.
I tracked the number with Fedex and along with the entries that nobody was home 3 times was an entry that the shipment was damaged. A Fedex employee said that the shipment was handled per shippers instructions. The company employee failed to tell me this, and just tried to dump the responsibility on finding out what happened to the shipment on me instead of taking care of it. Apparently the shipment was destroyed rather than returned. Neither her, nor Fedex could explain why I wasn't notified that the shipment was tendered 3 times when I wasn't home.
I had called and asked for a supervisor, who finally called me back. The employee blamed me for everything, so I laid out what had transpired. She agreed to refund my money.
Even though I will be reimbursed, I will never do business with this company because of the way they have handled this problem. The companies name is Gaurdian of Eden.
I had a really good supplier before, and that's what I get for trying to save a few bucks. You get what you pay for.
