Re: Another newbie question

Take Flax Lignan (has lots of Omega-3 oils), 1 tsp a day. Drink at least 8 - 8 oz glasses of water a day. Eat raw veggies (broccoli, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, beets, sweet potato, peppers, etc). Eat lots of fruit also (apples, pears, plums, melons, prunes, cherries, grapes, especially red grapes, etc). Go easy on meat and cheese. Avoid margerine (Butter is better, really). Avoid canola oil. The best oils are coconut oil, olive oil, flax seed oil, evening primrose oil, and sunflower oil. Make sure that the unsaturated oils have always been refrigerated (flax seed oil, sunflower oil, evening primrose oil). The best oil is coconut oil. It is the best cooking oil and does not have to be refrigerated. Three and a half tablespoons a day is a good amount. Stay away from white bread and white flour and sugar. Get plenty of exercise. Stay away from nutrasweet and all the other names it goes under. Stay away from hydrogenated oils. Don't cook with unsaturated oils (olive oil is ok at low temperatures, but coconut oil is best). Take a baking soda enema a day until you establish reasonable regularity. With enough fiber and water in your diet and exercise, you should be able to wean yourself off of the enemas.
